Garden News

Help Needed

Thank you to the many families offering support last holidays. The Badwal family (Zoe Grade 2) and McCarthy family (Hugh in Grade 1 and Ned in Foundation), collected eggs and kept the chickens well fed and the seedlings watered.

We appreciate the community support and look forward to more families volunteering over the summer holidays!

Grade 5/6, 3 and 1 classes are:

* collecting eggs

* identifying produce and biodiversity

* mounding potatoes

* sowing summer seed - zucchini, pumpkin, cucumber, melons, beans

* preparing for the fete (Grade 6s will be selling produce and seedlings)

*folding origami paper seedling pots

*collecting soil from the chicken cage for the veggie bed

*eating/harvesting peas

* smelling sweet pea flowers

* weeding and navigating the stinging nettle

See you at the fete!

Thanks

Anna
