Thank you to our students, parents and School Council members who helped us to

 celebrate World Teacher's Day today.  Our teachers enjoyed a lovely lunch and we spolit with lovely cards and messages written by students and their families.  Personally, I think our teachers are pretty great too!! 

Junior House Sports Day

Our event was postponed today due to the weather and we have been lucky enough to secure Friday 18th November as the new date. All the same details will apply, however we will need to get new permissions signed on Compass. Please keep an eye out for the updated information. 

Thank you to those that put their hand up to be a helper, if you are still available for the new date, we would still really like your help. Fingers crossed the weather on Friday 18th November will be warm and sunny! 

Reminders

Tuesday 1st November is a Public Holiday, therefore there will be no school.

Another date to record in your calendar is Friday 9th December, which is our final Curriculum Day for the year.  This is the day after our Christmas Carols evening. 

Building Update

You may have noticed some work happening at the back of our gym lately. Over the next 2 weeks we will hopefully be using our new sandpit, which is next to the junior playground. Our turf for the new multi-purpose field was held up due to coming from flood affected areas, we should see this arrive any day now. Whilst it will be exciting to see this arrive and be laid, we will not be able to use this multi-purpose field this term, as the turf needs to establish. 

Whole School and Year 6 Graduation Photos  

The date for our Whole School Group and Year 6 Graduation Photos has been changed and is now scheduled for Thursday the 17th of November.  As with the Junior House Sports day we are hoping for a dry day!!

Starman Visit

Yesterday, we had a visit with Star Man from Cricket Australia who came to our school to promote cricket in schools and the Mascot Challenge some of our students are participating in!
