EXCURSION 

GAL-MATIC 

Tuesday was an interesting learning experience for 22 students with instructors from Sydney running a workshop on car maintenance. The two instructors, one being a mechanic and the other a tyre technician, spoke to the students about changing wheels and what is under the bonnet of a car. Most students (and the teacher) came away from the two-hour program having learned something.

Great experience – lots learned – time allowed to learn basic car management from changing wheels and what’s under the engine. 

The hands-on exposure was good – you got the feel for the weight of a tyre. 

Good program for those who know nothing about car maintenance and may get stuck somewhere.
