Middle School Report
Message from the Middle School Assistant Principal
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Middle School students, families and staff. The return to a full year of onsite learning has brought many challenges and opportunities for our Middle School students.
Congratulations to all our students on their achievements and learning growth throughout the year. I hope everyone has a restful break over the summer and I look forward to working with all of you in 2023.

Year 7
Thank you for a wonderful year. It has been a pleasure overseeing the year 7 cohort as they grew in confidence, ability and height! We appreciate the effort the students put in with staying engaged in learning given it has been the first full year of onsite learning in two years, they have all done an amazing job.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting them with their first year in high school and we hope they have had a memorable year.
Some highlights of the year for us include camp, harmony day, diversity dash, debating competition, token trade ins, interschool sports, science week, weekly clubs, Edgar’s Creek got talent, zoo excursion and not having to wear masks!
Michael and I are looking forward to continuing to build relationships with them in 2023 and we wish you all a safe break.
Year 8
Thank you for such a wonderful and supportive year from all parents! It has been a great pleasure watching the students grow both academically and socially throughout the year and supporting them in all their endeavours.
We appreciate the effort from both students and parents to stay focused not only throughout the year, but especially this term to support students at school. We acknowledge it was the first full year on site since Grade 5 for most students and the whole cohort has shown resilience, respect and tenacity for the first year at high school!
This term, students went on the Scienceworks excursion, where they explored the different facets of science and how it affects our daily lives. The students enjoyed being out of school grounds and behaved respectfully throughout the day. Another highlight of this term was the Diversity Dash, where students participated in a run where they were able to throw coloured powder at each other as well as the teachers. They enjoyed the day full of colour!
We would like to wish everyone a safe and restful break, ready for the new year!
Happy Holidays
