ONLY FOUR DAYS LEFT TO GET THOSE COINS IN…
“Pretty much everyone has a handful of loose change just hanging around at home. Why not give those lonely coins a purpose and send them along to school with your child? Each class competes to see who can raise the most money from the start of term 4 until the end. At the end of the drive, the funds are collected for the school and the winning class will be awarded with a pizza lunch.”
In each class, there is a money jar for students to add their coins, at the conclusion of the event the P&F will count the TOTAL money raised per class and announce the winning group. Children are welcome to contribute as little OR as many COINS as they like, daily OR weekly… There are no rules… so Start Collecting AND Good Luck to Each Class!
The P&F invites you to join us for our last formal meeting for the year. The start time is 6:30 pm followed by nibbles and drinks. At this meeting, we will finish our planning for the year, look forward to 2023 and celebrate the wonderful 2022 we have had. We also encourage parents to find out about the workings of the P&F and offer you the opportunity to join our team.
Remember – the P&F is a volunteer group that the school relies on for the organisation of events and fundraising. This allows our children to experience a school community that is fun, engaging and meaningful PLUS increases the resources available to our children for use in their learning. There is NEVER an EXPECTATION for members to be involved in all events, it is purely a help-where-you-can basis AND there is ALWAYS support and assistance from other members and school staff. We urge you to consider joining the group for 2023. Many thanks 😊
To celebrate ‘Italian Day’ at St. Fidelis, on Wednesday 7th December, the P&F are organising pizzas and gelati mini cups for lunch! Orders are OPEN on QuickCliq, so please place your order before the cut-off date (Thursday 1st December) so your child does not miss out. Volunteers are also required to help heat and serve the pizza and gelati. If you have some spare time that day, please assist us by joining as a volunteer through QuickCliq (in the volunteer section). Thank you!
To finish off the year, the P&F invites you and your family to attend the end of year Christmas Carols Night. The evening will commence at 5:30 pm, with carols at 7 pm, followed by an 8:30 pm finish. At the event, there will be Christmas craft activities, a lucky dip, a Christmas novelty gift stall, face painting, gingerbread making (thanks to THE VILLAGE BAKERY) the annual Christmas raffle, and a sausage sizzle. Please see the flyer below for further details. We recommend you BYO ‘other food’ and non-alcoholic beverages, a picnic rug and/or chairs for seating.
*IMPORTANT – The P&F need your help on the evening to run the BBQ from 5 pm – 7 pm. If you know now that you could be of assistance, please sign up via QuickCliq through the volunteer tab.
Thank you in advance.
In celebration of one of the most wonderful times of the year, the P&F is in the process of organising our annual Christmas Raffle – to be drawn at the Christmas Carol Night on Thursday 15th December. There are 15 prizes in line for the winning, inclusive of, but not limited to the following gifts:
And many, many more… BUT you gotta be in it, to win it!!!
By now, you should have received a booklet of raffle tickets, and as per usual, each ticket costs $1 to purchase. Please clearly name and add a contact number to EACH TICKET and drop it off with money at the front office before 9 am, Monday, December 12th. Many thanks, and GOOD LUCK!
On Sunday 19th March 2023, St. Fidelis will be hosting a ‘Community Day’. It will run from 12 pm – 4 pm and be comprised of FOUR MAJOR COMPONENTS:
As you could imagine, the P&F committee alongside the school administration has already begun planning for this event. It is an important event as we are hoping to gain future student enrolments, fundraise for the school and as usual, celebrate our school community. In anticipation of this event, we need YOUR ASSISTANCE in the following way/s:
We look forward to helping Manuela host this community day and we know that with your support, this will again prove to be another successful fundraising event for the school with the bonus of ‘bragging’ our wonderful school to the wider community.
THANK-YOU for taking the time to stay updated with the P & F NEWS!
