From the Principal

Jingle Bell Rock

There was more than a dash of Christmas spirit and the cold winter day in December could not dampen the excitement!!  There had been hours of preparation and lunch times gladly given up for rehearsals. They were certainly ready and oh did they sound magnificent!!!

Our hearts overflowed with pride and joy as we listened to our very own St Francis de Sales Choir perform outside Coles on Thursday 7th December. It certainly brought a tear of happiness to many an eye and I could not help tap and sway to the music. If the Christmas Spirit had not hit you already, then it sure did just by the presence of our beautiful children in their choir tops singing so beautifully. The St Francis de Sales Choir certainly would ensure the Spirit of Christmas would fill you from your head to your toes.

A BIG thanks to the choir and to Kristy our amazing music teacher for all her work with the children. Thanks also to Imasha who has been there at all the rehearsals and has helped prepare the children with Kristy. Thanks to staff who walked the children there and back and to all who came along to support and hear the choir sing. It was so great to be able to perform in public once again after all this time.

If you missed the choir perform, you can still hear them on.....

Did Santa's Helpers Visit SFS?

Well it sure felt like they did!! In just over an hour our shed was magically transformed from chaos to order in a blink of an eye. I thought this would take at least two visits to do. However, I underestimated the resolve of our amazing two helpers who just set to work. They moved the storage tubs, organised the shelves and re-stacked and ordered them in a record time. I cannot thank Ken Peterson (Tanya's husband) and Martin White ( My hushand)  enough for their support. The shed looks sensational. It looks so good that they even might come back and get the container just as organised for us. Thank you Ken and Martin, you are SUPER STARS!!!

ALL school gates will open from 8:30 am

The staff of St Francis de Sales Primary School, Lynbrook are NOT RESPONSIBLE for your child's safety prior to the start of the school supervision time.

Supervision is currently from 8:30 am -3:40 pm

If your child walks to school, please consider when they leave from home.

Children Arriving Before 8:30 is a safety issue!

In addition the supervision after school finishes currently at 3:40 pm.

I will need to meet with parents who are not respectful of the hours of work of our staff or if there is an unacceptable safety risk for your child.

A BIG thank you to the parents who have made the adjustments to ensure their child/children do not arrive at school before the gates open at 8:30am.

We ask parents who need supervision before or after these times to use Kharisma Kids or make alternative care arrangements
