Overdue Books

All library borrowing has now finished for the year.  Any books out on loan are now overdue.  We also have a large number of books that are still outstanding since the beginning of the year.  We have emailed overdue notices to students and families, so please be alert and ensure your student returns their loans immediately.   Any outstanding loans at the end of the school year will be processed and a book replacement fee will be charged to your school account.  Occasionally we do have internet issues that may affect our loan information, so please email me if you have any queries: msnooks@fhs.vic.edu.au

Holiday Reading and Movies

Students are still able to borrow books from our eBook library, ePlatform, over the holidays.  There are a wide range of eBooks and audiobooks available – audiobooks are a fantastic alternative to music during long road trips!  You can also download the ePlatform app to make listening even easier.

Students can access ePlatform via: Compass > ‘star’ menu > ePlatform (logon with Compass account details).  

We also have a wide variety of movies available on Smartsuite for students to stream over the holidays, including English films for those wanting to get a head start for 2021.  

To access: Compass > ‘star’ menu > Smartsuite (logon with Compass details) > click on the ‘Watch a movie’ button.  English films can be accessed from the VCE & MS English or the Reading Program (for Years 7 and 8) buttons.
