and Reminders
Welcome to the 2021 school year
The year has commenced very smoothly, with school photos taken a week ago. The past fortnight has been a settling in period, with students in Years 7 already looking forward to camp week (Week 5) and the Year 11s and Year 12s (Week 6) to Retreat. Next week we begin our online Parent Information Evenings, with information having already been forwarded to parents via EdSmart. Enquiries can be directed to your daughter's SDL (Student Development Leader) or Homeroom teacher.
The annual Swimming Carnival took place today at Noble Park, with great excitement after all the cancellations that occurred in 2020. There will be photos and the results in the next iNewsletter.
Please Be Sun Smart
We are at that time of the year when UV levels are high. Whilst some sun exposure is necessary for the production of Vitamin D, over exposure carries a risk of skin and eye damage. Sun protection times can be found at the Bureau of Meteorology website and real-time UV levels are available from the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency on the Sun Smart website. Let's all be Sun Smart!

Parents are reminded that students should be dropped off at the Rosemary Ave entrance and not at Springvale Road. Please, do not stop in front of the school in the peak hour traffic. This is not only dangerous but also illegal, as it is a clearway.
