Library

Welcome back to the Library and a big welcome to the new Year 7s. The Library hours are from 8am to 5pm, and we encourage all the students to use our facilities as much as possible. We have a large collection of fiction and non-fiction books, and comfortable chairs, couches and cushions to sit on to read your favourite book, author, or taste test a new book.  Lunchtimes are very busy as students take the opportunity to read, play games, complete jigsaw puzzles, or finish that last piece of work that’s due.

Senior students are welcome to study in the library and we have several smaller spaces for them to work quietly, or to have group discussions. At lunchtimes on Thursdays, the Library is only available for VCE students to study quietly, and many senior students make the most of this opportunity. 

Every Tuesday lunchtime, students come to complete Makerspace craft activities.  This week students enthusiastically made book marks for Valentines day, and were encouraged to give them to a favourite person in their life.  I hope some parents have received one.
