Premier Reading Challenge

Congratulations to Kayzier in Year 7 who completed the 2020 Premier Reading Challenge (PRC) and received her certificate and a special gift. The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, and to read more widely. Participants had to read 20 books (10 PRC books and 10 choice ones) over a 6 months period.

Well done Kayzier!

Summer Reading

Summer Holiday is almost here! As well as enjoying the outdoors, relaxing and spending time with family and friends, why not keep up the reading for a minimum of 20 minutes everyday? Please visit your library to browse the new titles we have on display. We are sure that you will find a book that interests you that is at your reading level. Remember you can borrow up to 5 books. If you enjoy reading e-books and e-magazines, you can access them at the local library (Blacktown City Libraries). It is available for free and all you need is a membership card.
