Levels 5 & 6

Level 5 Update

On Friday mornings the grade 5 students are participating in STEM activities. Last week we designed and then built a bridge out of paddle pop sticks. The design brief included the use of 200 paddle pop sticks and has to span between two chairs placed 30cm apart. Next week after the massive amounts of glue are dry, we will load up the bridges with weights to see which is the strongest!

Level 6 Update

On Thursday 18 February, Jells Park attended the WESA swimming Carnival. It was great to get outside straight after our 5 days in lockdown. There were the main events of Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke and Butterfly in the 50m pool, and also lots of novelty events, which allowed every Level 6 student the chance to earn points for the school. Jells Park finished 2nd overall. Thanks to all the parents who came down to support and help out.
