House Swimming Carnival 2021

The House Swimming Carnival was held on Friday February 26 at Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool. For the first time, the whole of Year 9 was involved in the event. This meant that all of Year 7-9 students were in attendance, in addition to the senior swimmers who were competing.

The event had an energetic start with the enthusiastic House Captains performing a dance routine to open the day to get the students warmed up for their involvement in both the competition and novelty events on offer.

Onus made a strong start to the events and were able to hold the lead right the way through the carnival to achieve a convincing win.

There were outstanding individual performances from Alicia Ross Smith (Year 11), Alex Crawford (Year 9), George Fouhy (Year 8) and Amelia Speairs (Year 7) who all won 3 or more individual events.

Thank you to all the students, house captains and staff for their involvement in the House Swimming Carnival.

Hockey Victoria - Under 15 Girls Development Team

Congratulations to Mirani Simons-Moemai (Year 8) who has been selected in the Hockey Victoria - Under 15 Girls Development Team.  Mirani made it through the final player assessments stage in a cohort with plenty of depth. She will compete at the National Championships in Bathurst NSW between April 9-15.

Good luck Mirani!
