Work with Jane Pollock

Once again, our new staff  had the opportunity to learn from internationally renowned educator Jane Pollock. Following on from a learning session, they participated in classroom observations, and then had time one on one with Jane to discuss effective lesson planning. This is part of our work to ensure that all new staff are fully inducted into our way of teaching at SASC. Thanks to our Teaching and Learning Coordinator, Mr Louis Turner, for facilitating this work.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Yesterday we held Parent Teacher Interviews for Term 1.  It was lovely to see so many parents attend, and a welcome return to having this event on site.  Interpreters were provided to enable our families to access their interviews. Many parents and staff commented on how much they appreciated this opportunity.
