Level 1

It has been an interesting fortnight! A big thank you to our Level 1 students and families for embracing the hardcopy and virtual work sent home during our home learning days. We were so pleased to see how enthusiastic the students were … and even more pleased to be able to come back to school quickly. 

In class, we have been enjoying settling into routines, including Spelling each week. Home Reading is in full swing and it’s fabulous that many students are reading their readers nearly every night with their families. In Maths, we have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes, and learning to recognise these in everyday life. In the coming weeks, we will be working through a ‘Happy Healthy Me’ unit, discussing healthy choices. 

On Thursday, students took part in the school House picnic, which was enjoyed by all. Thanks to families for packing House-coloured food!
