Learning in J07

Junior School J07 Manning is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

J07 are Bucket Fillers!

In J07 we have been busy working on our social and personal skills.

We have been learning about one of our important school values:

RESPECT

We are respectful by being kind, caring and good listeners.

Through our Resilience Project lessons, we have also explored the concept of...

EMPATHY

“putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes”.

It’s really important for us to think about how our words and actions can affect other people!  We have recently been reading a book called “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” which says that everyone has an invisible bucket to hold their good thoughts and feelings. We have been busy discussing ways to be Bucket Fillers – adding good thoughts and feelings to others’ buckets.  This could be our friends, our teachers, our family, even our pets!
