SRC News

Follow the MPRPS Trail ...

It's been a challenging year however the Senior SRC Representatives have created a way to bring cheer to your day!

Similar to the ‘Teddy Bear Hunt’ and ‘Follow the Rainbow’ seen throughout the streets, we wanted to create our very own MPRPS Scavenger Hunt! This is so we can encourage families to get outside and go for a walk or ride around our community and ‘spot’ pictures in the windows, on fences, chalk on foot paths or front doors that are specific to MPRPS.

Together we brainstormed criteria these pictures could include that we (MPRPS Community) can know what to look out for. Afterwards, the Senior School voted on their favourite criteria options through Google Forms.

The results for the Top 3 criteria were:

  • A positive message/ quote
  • Navy and Orange
  • Character strengths

Thank you to some of our SRC Representatives who have already created there’s ready for display and to show YOU an example and hopefully inspire you to draw your very own.

MPRPS Virtual Disco

We are so excited to announce the Remote Disco scheduled for the 28th of August. After the Senior SRC Students met last week, they brainstormed a range of different themes that each year level voted on. Some of the examples included Animal, Sports, Colourful and Your favourite outfit! Students have until tomorrow to submit their vote before the winning themes are announced to Senior SRC Captains this Wednesday and then to the whole school community in next weeks Newsletter! Times for the Online Disco have not been confirmed so please keep a look out for more information to come. One part of the disco that has been confirmed is… a DJ! It is a surprise for now however there will be clues released each week up until the night through the Newsletter and Instagram. Have you watched yet? If not, watch below. Enjoy!
