Welcome back to Term 3 - Student Support Group Meetings are not far away!

Please take this opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their learning goals and progress so far this year. Our teachers are looking forward to catching up and finding out more about how best to support your child with their personal learning and support plan.

The upcoming Student Support Meeting provides a great opportunity for your child to be at the centre of attention!  And so please be sure your child can join in the WebEx video meeting, perhaps they can show us some work, demonstrate a skill, use their communication device, answer some simple questions or reflect on what they have learned and what they would like to learn.

SSG Rationale –

‘Student Support Group Meetings provide an opportunity for students to feel empowered to take an active role in the design of their learning. This helps them make a purposeful contribution to their learning environment, feeling better prepared for the challenges

Middle Years Sub School News

In Term 3, whilst a large number of us are still at home, the rest of us are doing the best we can to get back into our familiar routines. We enjoy making our classrooms look bright and colourful which makes us feel connected with each other when we have other worries on our minds.

We continue to work our skills to progress further in our learning day to day.

We love making different foods and dancing to fun music with our classmates and extend our thinking in STEAM.

Even though I miss many of my friends, it is still fun to see my teachers at JSA!

Secondary Sub School News

This Term has seen some of our Sub School programs returning to life. Our Canteen program returned this week, and was a great success! As you can see, learning in each classroom is business as usual. We want to thank all of the students and families who have been in contact with us over the past couple of weeks. We are all in this together, and we appreciate having conversations with you all to see how everyone is coping. We hope to hear back from all families regarding the learning from home packages that are available to you all. These packs will last for two weeks before another pack will be sent home.
