The same but different!

Our Chaplain –

 the SAME but DiFfErEnT!

Well, we have made it to the end of another school term. You may think, ‘What! The kids are home again!” Yes, it’s true. The holidays are here again, and they will probably feel the same as lockdown when the weather is terrible and we can’t go outside. They will feel different though, because we can travel now … within Victoria at least.

Often when someone announces the findings from new research, I listen to it, and I find that it was a basic life fact when I was young. It still is true, but somehow people in charge seem to think they have to claim it as new, and need to tell the world about it. There are many helpful things that we should pass on to the next generation. They are the same underlying truths, just with a different twist for a new generation.

In my photos above, I am the same but different. Our holidays will be the same but different. Since last holidays we have learnt  lessons about ourselves, and what are our most important priorities. May we keep those lessons, and make the coming holiday time more beneficial and special, as we spend time with family and friends, just a few at a time.

Stay wise and safe in your choices. Whatever you do, make sure you do some fun things together when you can. See you next term!
