Co-curricular - Senior Sport
Please make note that winter sport training will commence on the first day back of Term 3 – Monday 20 July for AFL, Rugby, Football and Tennis.
I remind parents and students to download for free the SPC Sport Team App to receive up-to-date information.
From Friday afternoon you will be able to view all winter sports training schedules for the remainder of the winter season under the “Training Schedules & Cancellations” tab.
Over the holiday period I will be working on the draft draws for the winter season to provide families with notice of fixtures in advance. In line with this, I wish to inform you that from the commencement of Term 3, parents and boys will have access to view these draws via Team App and the College website.
Holiday Fixtures
To those that are involved in playing Rugby and Football fixtures during the break I wish you all the best.
With the agreement of the opposition schools, these fixtures will go ahead on the understanding that we respect and follow each other’s protocols for re-entry to Inter School Sport.
Please note the College has been informed that only coaching staff and players will be in attendance for those fixtures against Barker College and Cranbrook School. Unfortunately, NO spectators will be allowed. For those Rugby fixtures against Knox Grammar, a minimal number of spectators will be allowed and must register beforehand. I expect to receive a detailed information email from the Knox Sportsmaster later this week. Please know a message will be communicated to you through Team App outlining Knox Grammar’s expectations and requirements should you wish to attend.
