Meg Languages Program

This year, students in Years 3/4 and 5/6 have been learning Mandarin via the Meg Languages Program.  Each week, students connect virtually with their teacher in China to participate in live and interactive language sessions. 

The word of the month at St Mary of the Angels is: Nǐhǎo! That means hello, and today we say a big nǐhǎo to our friends at @MegGlobalEd who are providing our Mandarin Program! We can’t wait to see what else our students learn.

SORA App

SORA is a student reading app which can be downloaded and used on any device. Students can access free eBooks and audiobooks from our school. Simply access the app store and download SORA. 

Once in the app you will need to add our Library by searching for: 

• ACEN Member Collection 

or alternatively, select

• I have a setup code 
  (at the bottom of the screen)

YOUR SETUP CODE IS:   CENETAU

You will be prompted to:

• Sign into your school
• Select ACEN Member Collection from the drop down menu.  
• Log in using your own personal username and password 

Username: is your school email address 

Password:  is the same password that you use to log into your Chromebooks at school everyday

Students as Authors Writing Competition

A reminder that stories for the Students as Authors competition are due by June 10th.
