ICT Update

Every student receives a Chromebook that is owned by the college then leased to the student over three years. 

Families will be charged a technology levy of $135 yearly as part of school fees. 

You will be required to consent to a Chromebook Acceptance Agreement which will be available on the Compass portal. Student Agreements will be completed when school commences.

It is important to note that the devices belong to the school and as such, students are not permitted to personalise the device. One of the main reasons for the devices moving to a lease structure is to ensure that the school network and devices remain secure. Data security is a huge concern for all and the CSO is prioritising the safety of school and student data by maintaining security and upgrading of student and staff devices. 

Mobile phone use is not permitted throughout the school day. 

However, students can use their phone before 8.30 and after 3.10pm.
