National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week

National Sorry Day is marked each year on May 26, acknowledging the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people – the “Stolen Generations” - who were removed from families and communities. 26 May is the anniversary of the tabling of the Bringing them Home report in Australian Parliament in 1997.

Reconciliation Week follows Sorry Day – from 27 May to 3 June, with the theme Be Brave. Make Change. Please keep watch for the great activities and sharing that our St Paul children and staff have been planning in the coming week, as well as the first physical change you will see in our school yard, as we work towards our Reconciliation Action Plan.

School Photo Day Uniform

Our official school photos are coming up on June 8. We ask that all children wear their correct uniform, with the maroon/navy stripe polo, and rugby or fleece jumper. Track pants or shorts can be worn. Our hope is to have all children wearing their stripe polo for photos, however if the weather is too cold, we will wear jumpers and rely on our wonderful photography team to create the best symmetry we can in with jumpers and shirts in our photographs.
