Proposed new daily structure trial in Term 1 2020

In Term 1, we would like to trial new break times throughout the day for children and staff.

The new times trialed during the day would be:

School starts 9:00am

Recess 11:15-11:30 Eating

11:30-12:00 Playtime

Lunch 1:20-1:30 Eating

1:30-2:00 Playtime

School ends 3:00pm

These changes extend our recess break and will reduce the amount of time children are playing in either the extreme summer heat or extreme winter cold during our lunch break. It also gives a longer break at recess after a long morning session of learning.

This trial would not impact on our starting time of 9.00am or finishing time at 3.00pm.
