Information on Changes

With current concerns regarding the Coronavirus, the Killara High School Uniform Shop has made a few modifications to our opening hours and practices to ensure purchases can be made safely.

Midweek openings:

Commencing the week of 23 March until Friday 1st May (to be reviewed), the following will apply:

• The shop will open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8.00 to 10.00am.
• 8.00 to 9.00am will be for students to collect online orders only (there will not be over the counter sales during this period)
• 9.00 to 10.00am will be for parents and new students to purchase (one parent per transaction and card only). Please wait at the door, there will be a limit of 2 families in the shop at any one time.

We would encourage you to place an online order.  We will assist your child in selecting the correct items/sizes.  If you are not happy with their purchase, they can return or exchange within 30 days of purchase as long as the garment is in ‘as new condition’, has not been worn/used and includes packaging.

We request that all purchases through the Uniform Shop be by on-line ordering or card transaction.

The shop will close at 10.00am to be cleaned and made ready for the next day of trade.

Second hand sale:

At the moment, it is our intent to proceed with the second hand sale from 8.30 to 9.30am on Saturday 28th March. Please keep an eye out for any updates on changes to this.

Weekend purchases of new uniform:

The Uniform Shop will be opening on two Saturdays and Sundays expressly for families of Year 7 students and those who have joined the school this year.  A booking system will be used, with an email to be sent shortly outlining details on booking a time slot.  The dates and times are:

Saturday 28th March - 10am  to Noon

Sunday 29th March – 10am to Noon

Saturday 4th April – 8.30am to Noon

Sunday 5th April – 10am to Noon

Fittings during these times will take place in our popup change rooms in the courtyard in front of the shop, with payment and collection of goods taking place in the shop (noting that we are attempting to minimize the number of people in this confined space). We request that purchases on each of these occasions be by card, to minimise the handling of cash.

We are still planning to open on Monday 27th April from 8am to Noon, dependant on Department of Education guidelines.  There will be limitations on the number of people in the shop at any one time, and once again we request that purchases are by card only.  The shop will be open on Tuesday 28 April, Wednesday 29 April and Friday 1 May from 8.00 to 10.00am, but will be restricted to On-line order collections from 8.00 to 9.00am.
