National Day of Action against Bullying & Violence

This National Day is on Friday 16 March. Teachers and students will be addressing the issue of Bullying and Violence on this day. This is an excellent opportunity for the school to re-address this topic and support students in the right actions to take to manage this very difficult issue. I would strongly encourage parents to also look at the website and have their own discussions with their children.

Sibling Enrolments

Jells Park has commenced tours and enrolments for any prospective 2019 Foundation students. Any current school families that have siblings ready to start school next year are invited to drop into the office, or make a phone call, to get an enrolment form.

Early Arrival / Late Departure process

A reminder to parents that the school grounds are supervised from 8.40am - 8.55am in the morning and 3.30pm - 3.45pm in the afternoon. Students arriving at school before 8.30am, and/or who are still waiting to be picked up after 4.00pm in the afternoon, will be directed to OSHClub (Before & After School Care).

Parking and Traffic

My annual appeal to parents about traffic and parking around the school.....

I know that it is extremely busy around the drop-off and pick-up times, so I would ask for patience and consideration when in your car.  Please consider the local neighbours by not blocking or parking in driveways or moving bins. Please consider other drivers, particularly those who have disability stickers trying to access the two disabled spots. Please do not use the staff car park as a drop off point or turning circle. All of this is particularly important for the safety of all the children.
