If anyone finds a gold hoop earring that was lost on the Secondary Campus on Wednesday, please hand it to the front office staff.

Curriculum Charges and iPads

Curriculum charges need to be paid in full by Friday 29th March to be eligible for the $50 discount.

Curriculum charges still need to be paid even if the $100.00 iPad payment has been made.

Families with outstanding Curriculum charges will have their iPad collected from 23rd April (the beginning of Term 2).

Payment options are over the counter or via QKR. You can meet with the Business Manager to arrange a payment plan if required.

Tuesday 23rd June is an adjusted school day and the students are expected to attend their Mid-Year Parent Teacher Interviews to discuss their progress. The students only come to school for their interview.

City of Whittlesea - Controlled Burn Notification

Year 10 Food Studies

In Year 10 Food Studies, we participate in many cooking sessions learning the reasons why certain ingredients are utilised and cooked. We spend every Thursday session 5 and Friday session 1 classes cooking food. Last week, we worked in teams and created our own cakes, choosing the ingredients and flavours we wanted. My partner and I decided to make something unique so we made a cinnamon cake with apples. We both enjoyed the process in making it and felt proud of the outcome. Food Studies is a fun and interesting experience every student should undertake!

Belongings, Ambulance & Insurance

Private property brought to school by students, staff or visitors is not insured and the Department of Education does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage.

Parents are reminded that the Department of Education does not provide personal accident insurance or ambulance cover for students. Parents and guardians of students who do not have student accident insurance/ambulance cover are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance attendance/transport and any other transport costs.

Deadlines for Notices

All permission forms and payments must be returned by the specified deadline. Students who do not return their notices by the deadline will not be allowed to participate in the respective activity.

Reminder for Parents

Primary Campus and Secondary Campus foyers:

Students are not to use these areas to wait in before school or after school. It is expected students will be on their way home by 3.30 pm.

Any student on the Primary Campus not collected will be sent to OSHC (Out of School Hours Care).

We have staff on Yard Duty from 8:45 am until 3:30 pm and due to other responsibilities are unable to to provide supervision outside these times.

Please also be aware the Primary Campus office will close at 4:00 pm each day.

Students waiting for collection at the end of the day will be directed to the concrete leaves at the front of the school and early arrivals will need to find an undercover spot to play.

This year for the first time our school has Year 10 students and we are keen to assist them in finding opportunities for work experience from 15th June – 19th June 2020, and furthermore some part-time work.

I am sure you are in receipt of requests such as this on a regular basis however our community would be most appreciative if you were able to assist.

Our students demonstrate respect, teamwork, resilience and would give you their best efforts.
