Habitat for Humanity 2019

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organisation that builds affordable housing for those who don’t have somewhere decent to live. Every second year the Lutheran Schools in SA send a team overseas to help on one of the Habitat build sites. This year four Year 11 students, Amelia Bearman, James Cork-Gorringe, Georgia Douvartzidis and Cooper Howson, and two staff members, Mrs Natasha Smith and Mrs Penny Werner, will travel to Fiji as a part of this year’s building team.

In recent years, some parts of Fiji have been destroyed by cyclones. Whilst there, the team will be helping with the construction of housing that will be able to sustain heavy winds and rain. Each team member is asked to raise $1000 to contribute to the costs of building. As a community we are proud of the Endeavour participants and are supporting them with their fundraising initiatives. It would be greatly appreciated if you would also support the team.

The first fundraiser is “Entertainment books”.  Endeavour College is partnering with Entertainment Publications to raise money for the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.

To order an Entertainment Book follow the below link and click on the 'order now' button.  Books and digital memberships are $70.00.
