Whittlesea Tech School Highlights

A new program investigating endangered species

This term year 7E as well as a range of students from 7 to 12 participated Inquiry and Design Challenges at the Tech School. 7E students researched endangered species and then built automata that depicted the characteristic movements of their chosen animal to tell the story of why it is at risk of extinction. A range of students also under took the Lamp Design Challenge that was aimed at targeting the literacy needs of young children through the design of an innovative lamp for story time.
