Education Week

Education Week 2019 19 – 25 May

As part of 2019 Education Week, Lalor Secondary College celebrated careers.  Thanks to Krystal Bussell for diligently organising events for our senior students, including the excursion to La Trobe University and guest speakers from Melbourne University. 

On Wednesday 22 May we were celebrated careers and aspirations by taking photographs at the “Celebrating Careers Photo Booth.”

Last week was Education Week where we celebrated the theme “Careers”. In the Drama Centre there was a Photo Booth that provided us with props such as cooking equipment, various hats, and signs. The photo booth was an opportunity for the students from years 7 to 12 to share their dream careers. Students got to have conversations with their friends and other students about what they want to be in the future. The teachers also got involved and took photos with some of the students. The photos were printed and given to us so that students at Lalor Secondary College would have these photos to look back on as they grow up. This project would not have happened without the help of Miss Siryani.
