SKiPPS Needs your help!

Volunteers Needed

As already mentioned, during the next month we have two major community events.

Whilst we are thrilled to be coming together and holding our Celebration of the Arts event and our School Fete for the first time since the pandemic, both events require a large number of parent volunteers to operate successfully.

Between the two events, there are 375 volunteer slots to fill. With 327 children currently attending the school, the arithmetic is clear - we need each parent to sign up for at least one volunteer slot - ideally one slot at each event.

We are so lucky to have such a warm, popular and well-regarded school community and now is the time that we are asking all of you to get involved and help us out.

We understand this is a major ask at a time when everyone is so busy however volunteering is a great way to get to know the school better and to make new connections and friends.

To sign up for a slot at Celebration of the Arts, please find the roster at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b094baba62ea3f85-celebration1

The sign-up roster for the fete will be sent around later this week.

School Council Sub-committees

Our school has a number of permanent working groups called sub-committees. These groups are made up of staff members and dedicated parents who meet ten times a year with a focus to make our school a better place.

Sub-committees are open for anyone to join and rely on the energy, ideas and hard work of parents to improve the school experience for all of our students.

The groups are open for all parents to join and contribute to so feel free to come along to any of the following meetings.
