Junior Sports Day
On Wednesday our Preps, grade 1 and 2's went on an excursion to Dederang Primary School for a Junior Sports day. They met up with students from Tawonga Primary School and Dederang and enjoy the day with many games, races, and challenges. Looking at the photos its safe to say it looked very fun. We certainly had some weary students return to school in the afternoon. Well done for representing our school with kindness and respect, we are all very proud of you.
Coco Koala
Coco has been with Class 2/3 this week. On Wednesday when our grades prep to 2 were out at their sports day, Coco was welcomed into Kim's room by the grade 3's and joined in on a game of handman.
Enjoying a lovely sunny day today, Thursday, out in the yard getting up to all sorts of adventures, and being an inspiration for some life drawing.
Martial Arts Therapy Program (MAT)
We have been lucky enough to run a few sessions with Guy and we look forward to a few more.
Years 3-6 have had the opportunity to participate in the MAT program which focuses on building student resilience, confidence and positive self-talk. It is being delivered with support from the School Focussed Youth Services.
Thank you!
At the end of last term the grade 3 and 4 students enjoyed a day trip up to Falls Creek to enjoy a day out on the slopes and participate in a cross-country ski lesson.
In addition to our previous thank yous to our parent helpers and our bus driver, Heath, we would also like to thank the kind efforts made by the ski instructors from Windy Corner. Students have completed a poster with memories and their thank yous from the day.
