Junior School

Prep - Year 2

Though we had a shorter Week 5, the action has not stopped this fortnight!

Public Speaking Competition

As the Public Speaking Competition reaches its conclusion, Mrs. Michalski, Mrs. Lee and Miss Walls want to say one last “well done!” to all who wrote and presented their speeches. It was a tough choice selecting 3 representatives for each year level.

Congratulations to the following students who presented at assembly this past Monday:

Prep – Luke Liu

Grade 1 – Gemma Phillips

Grade 2 – Nicole Jiang

Fashion on the Field

On Friday the 28th of October, the students came in their finest clothing for Fashions on the Field. We had some brilliantly dressed jockeys, spectators and horses!

Inquiry Learning

The grade 1 and grade 2 Inquiry Learning topic has been on ‘Significant Places’.  These can be local, national and international. Each week, a new natural or man-made place has been looked at. Below are some lovely artworks created by the students.

Kitchen & Garden Program

On Monday 7 November, while the years 3 and 4 students were on an excursion, the Junior School were lucky enough to have another Kitchen and Garden experience!  After shaping and cutting up cookie dough, students were able to decorate their cookies with some edible flowers sourced from the garden, including but not limited to, lavender and rosemary. Have a look at the results below!
