Music Performance at NGV
Senior Strings perform at NGV
Towards the end of last term, myself and other Senior Strings students auditioned to become a string quartet. Six people were accepted, and so we practised some music for about a month before on 21 October we went to the Ian Potter NGV at Federation Square to perform this music. A group of students from the Senior Guitar Ensemble also performed. There was chocolate and drinks, and in between we could look at the exhibits (and NOT get lost in them), or spin around in weird chairs that looked like flowers in the middle of Fed Square. Overall, it was very fun, the performances went well and the exhibits were very interesting. If I could do that a lot more I definitely would.
