WRA - Small Schools' Athletic Carnival

Uralla Sporting Complex

On Friday 19 May, students from Niangala, Woolbrook and Yarrowitch competed in the annual Wild Rivers Alliance Small Schools Athletics Carnival.

This year the small schools joined the Uralla Alliance of Schools at the Uralla Sporting Complex. The day started out frosty but turned into a glorious Autumn day.

Being able to combine with Kingstown, Rocky River, Kelly's Plains and Kentucky meant that our 14 students (17 but some absent) had some competition in their races and field events.

We thank Mr Brad Hunt - Rocky River PS for inviting us to be a part of the carnival and a huge thank you to all staff that timed, scored and measured for the day's events.
