Stage 1 Mathematics

Wednesday, Week 4: Lindsay and Chanse have been working hard in mathematics to create and understand data. Today, they created a vehicle using an assortment of Lego and then used the Lego pieces to create a one-to-one data display. They discussed how their data was the same, and how it was different.

Stage 2 and 3 HSIE

In HSIE, the students have been learning about the colonisation of Australia. They have been working hard to learn how to take notes and summarise information and are now using their research to dramatise what they have learned.

Stage 1 English

Chanse and Lindsay have been working very hard on their dictations. Three times a week they are given a dictation to write down in their books.  The dictation will be a sentence or phrase using spelling rules or patterns which they are learning about that week. Chanse and Lindsay have to listen carefully to the dictation and try to retain and copy down as much of the sentence or passage as they can all the while trying to write neatly, quickly and fluently and spell the words correctly. Their teachers have been significantly pleased with their progress and development of their skills.

Stage 2 and 3 Maths
