We are still receiving enrolments from families that are in our area or who already have a brother or sister at our school. We ask that if you have not enrolled and you wish for your child to attend Rollins in 2024, that you complete and lodge an enrolment form ASAP. This will be a huge help to us as we try to prepare Foundation grades for 2024.
Many thanks
Please check the COMPASS entries to ensure that you are fully aware of how these interviews will operate this year. We are including a phone interview which we hope will assist many of our families during their busy schedule. There is still the opportunity for parents to meet with the teacher in a Face- to- Face interview. It is a matter of one or the other. Please keep a check on COMPASS for reminders and updates.
As we enter Winter we encourage students to bring a coat to school to wear outside. This is in addition to their jumper which should always be worn under the coat. Coats are not a replacemnt for a jumper. Beanies (with the school logo) can be purchased from our school office. Plain navy beanies can be purcheased from Target, BigW or Kmart.
I have submitted a number of grants seeking a new boundary fence. As yet ,we have not been succesful in obtaining a grant. I will continue to pursue this matter, but in the meantime I ask that parents do not lift their child over the fence. It can be dangerous on a number of levels. There are 3 gates for entry into the school and these are open from 8.30am. Please note supervision of students begins at 8.45am.
Please make sure you are signing in your child through the office Compass Kiosk if you are arriving after the morning bell. Any time after 9:00am is considered late and you MUST come through the office to be marked present.
This is a safety requirement. In case of an emergency, we need to know exactly the number of students and adults in the school so all can be accounted for.
