Greater Western Cross Country

The Greater Western Cross Country has been postponed to Friday 11th June. This will take place at Deakin University in Warrnambool. The bus will leave Sacred Heart (Pound Road) at 8.00am. We will return back to school at around 2.30pm. Children will need to wear their sports uniform. Please watch the weather forecast so you are aware of what other clothing will be needed e.g. change of clothes due to rain etc. Children will need their snacks, lunch and water bottle. A canteen is available on the day. 

Colac Division Football Lightning Premiership

Congratulations to all the boys who played in the Colac Division Football Lightning Premiership. Great sportsmanship was displayed when our two teams played off in the semi-finals. Sacred Heart Black made it through to the Grand final and defeated St Mary’s. The team will now travel to Ballarat to play in the Greater Western Primary Football Championships on Friday 18th June at Marty Busch Reserve, Sebastopol. A big thank you to Mick Baker and Mr Richardson for coaching on the day, and to the fantastic umpires from Trinity College and to the parents who supported the day.

Colac Division Netball Lightning Premiership 

Congratulations to all the girls who play in the Colac Division Netball Lightning Premiership.  Sacred Heart entered three teams into the competition. Both the A and C teams won their Grand finals and the B team just missed out. The A team will travel to Ballarat to play in the Greater Western Primary Netball Championships on Friday 18th June at Marty Busch Reserve, Sebastopol. A big thank you to Sally Montano, Lynne Garner and Kate Tomkins for coaching on the day, to the parents who supported the day and to all the umpires who helped on the day.
