Greater Western Cross Country

Good luck to the children who have qualified for the Greater Western Cross Country. This will take place at Deakin University in Warrnambool next Monday 31st May.  Just a reminder that the bus will leave Sacred Heart (Pound Road) at 8.00 am. We will return back to school at around 2.30 pm. Children will need to wear their sports uniform. Please watch the weather forecast so you are aware of what other clothing will be needed e.g. change of clothes due to rain etc. Children will need their snacks, lunch and water bottle. A canteen is available on the day. 

 

State Team Selection

Congratulations to Ted Buchanan and Hugh Coulson who have made it through the next stage of the State Football Team selection. The two boys have the final selection to go through. We wish them all the best.

 

Colac Primary Schools Golf Tournament

Well done to all the children who competed in the Colac Primary Schools Golf Tournament last Thursday. A big thank you to the parents and grandparents who helped out on the day. Congratulations to Lily Hanson and Jarvis Holland who were the winners of the tournament, and to Seb Cooknell (3rd place), Hugh Coulson,  Harry McConachy and Rory Smart who have qualified for the Greater Western tournament which will be played at the Curlewis Golf Course later in the year. A special mention and congratulations to Mia Nuner who finished in third place for the girls competition.

Colac Division Football Lightning Premiership

The Colac Division Football Lightning Premiership will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 26th May at the Colac Central Reserve. Students will travel by bus to this event. We will be leaving school at 9.00 am and returning to school at 3.00 pm. Students need to wear their sports uniform and bring along their football gear e.g. football shorts (dark colour), football socks (dark colour), football jumpers will be supplied. Children will also need plenty of water, snacks, fruit and a packed lunch. Extra clothes will be needed for warmth (weather looks cold and wet!). 

 

 

Colac Division Netball Lightning Premiership

The Colac Division Netball Lightning Premiership will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 26th May at the Eastern Reserve. Students will travel by bus to this event. We will be leaving school at 9.00 am and returning to school at 2.45 pm. Students need to wear their sports uniform. Children will also need plenty of water, snacks, fruit and a packed lunch. Extra clothes and a coat will be needed for warmth (weather looks cold and wet!)

 

Jump Rope For Heart

It is time for everyone to get skipping in preparation for our “Jump Off” day on Friday 11th June. Children will have a chance to show off their skipping skills on this day. This will be the same day as our Sacred Heart Feast Day. Children will skip between recess and lunch time (11.30 am - 1.30 pm).
