REFLECTION

The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.

When they all saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.

Then Jesus approached and said to them,

"All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."

Matthew 28:16-20

This Sunday it is Trinity Sunday. God is revealed as Father and Son and Holy Spirit – all three.  God has found us, chosen us, and adopted us to be his own, part of his family. We are not slaves, he is not our master, but we call him Father. We hear the voice of God speaking to us directly and intimately, through Jesus, including us as his children, as his family. We are all part of the family. God is our Father. He chose us and adopted us. Jesus is our brother.
