OSHC at Marion

At Marion OSHC we are committed to providing quality learning opportunities, delivered in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

The children had so much fun during the July school holidays including our very own disco lights flashing around the room, lots of antics having our Mad Hatter’s tea party, Taekwondo moves from the experts, spectacular tie dye tops and pillowcases, the amazing magicians with their spellbinding magic show, green screen movie creations, very special candle dipping and a fun trip to Inflatable Zone.

During OSHC this term we will be focusing on reminders about sustainability e.g. battery recycling process and recharging dock. The children have been busy in OSHC in week 1 with activities including decorating their own kimono, making Star Wars bookmarks, Hulk craft, oval games and nature play. Next week we have programmed activities such as crazy face craft, beading, gym games and making stress balls. 

The October Vacation Care Program pack is available in the OSHC room, Front Office and on the school website.  One of our incursions will be a visit from Animals Anonymous which will include a variety of reptiles and marsupials for us to meet! Spaces are available to book into OSHC and the October Vacation Care Program. To book please phone or email the above contacts.

Parents are welcome to offer suggestions for programming ideas and to participate on our OSHC committee which meets twice a term. Being a member of this committee gives families the opportunity to have even more input into the program and if anyone is interested in becoming involved, please come and talk to Guy or myself. 

Most families are entitled to Child Care Subsidy so please apply to Centrelink to see if you are eligible. Subsidy is applied to all fees including the additional ones for excursions and Incursions.

The following fees are without subsidy applied and are per child:

Before School Care:  $16.00         After School Care:  $26.00

Pupil Free Day:  $54.00                  Vacation Care:  $54       

Incursion Extra: $20.00                  Excursion:  $30.00
