Room One's 100 Hundred Days of School

To celebrate completing their first 100 days of school, the children in Room One invited their families in to share their learning. Demonstrating how much brighter they are after only 100 days of school, the Receptions modeled some of our literacy routines. These included; Heggerty, our literacy centre rotations, and fluency reading. 

It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to explain the what and why of these routines. The Receptions then shared their learning journals and with their families, reflected on their learning successes. They were awarded certificates from Mr. Walmsley and enjoyed sharing recess with their families.  We hope you enjoy our 100ne Hundred Days of School slide show below!
