Spotlight on Learning - Auslan at Marion PS

Our Term 3 focus in AUSLAN at Marion PS

Students will be learning how to sign greetings and other types of conversation, as well as how to sign different family members, animals, school items, emotions, feeling, colours, counting and finger spelling words.

Students will also be learning about Auslan grammar and how it is very different to when we are normally talking and writing. They will understand the purpose of Auslan grammar and why it makes signing Auslan easier and more purposeful.

Please encourage your child to use Auslan signing at home and could be a great chance to for them to teach you what they have been learning in class.
