Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

In the garden, grade 3 are enjoying the experience of moving through the different activities. Last week they harvested some oranges for our muffins. Congratulations to Shreyas, Nikki, Caiden, Alex and Loni for doing the wheelbarrow course and getting their license!

 

In the kitchen, the students continue to practise their safe knife skills. As it is science week, we also talked about all of the wonderful inventions and innovations that are used in the kitchen. As we made Tagine with Dates and Honey, we also talked about this North African dish and the earthenware pot that it is traditionally made in.
