Upcoming Events
PFA is running a busy schedule in Term 3!
Here are some events that we are planning in the upcoming weeks:
Fathers Day Badminton Tournament
PFA is glad to announce that we have 38 teams registered for the tournament. We wish all the team’s good luck with the matches!
We will be organising a refreshment stall on the days from where you could purchase drinks and snacks to keep you hydrated and energetic during the tournament!
Bunnings Barbeque
Please lock in the date for our biggest event of the year “The Bunnings Barbeque Sizzle”. We will be running the barbeque sizzle on Sunday 10 September 2023 between 8 AM and 6 PM at Bunnings Fountain Gate.
This is an annual PFA fund raising event and all the money we make on the day will be donated to school, any guess what the school is looking for?
Note: The BBQ event needs promotion, so please share and try and engage other parents in NHS, your friends and family outside for donations using trybooking:

Donations can be either money to purchase items we need or items we need on the day, see the link below for list and update. Historically we make $2,500 to $3,500 every year which is used to fund equipment and materials to be used by students at Nossal High School including the recent purchase of the Nossal gazebo for sporting events, outdoor seating and the chair covers which are used at whole school functions.
Next PFA Meeting
The next meeting of the Nossal PFA will be held on Wednesday 6 September 2023, commencing at 7pm. This will be a Zoom meeting, the details of which will be shared near to the date of the meeting.
Meet and Greet
Every couple of months, you will have the opportunity to meet a member from the PFA community, and get to know them, if you would like to be added next in the newsletter, please reach out to Shankar or Sarath.

Uniform Shop
The PFA second-hand Uniform Shop is open on the first Monday of each month (during school terms), as well as the first day of each term. The next uniform shop will be on Monday 4 September at 8.30am. The shop is located in the Fitness Centre at the rear of the northern (Jean Russell Centre) carpark.
All second-hand items are individually priced depending on their condition, but all items are priced at least 50% below new prices. PFA Uniform Shop is the only place to buy Nossal beanies - these are $15.
Donations of uniform are very welcome and can be left at Reception.
