Grandparents & Special Friends Day
What a FABULOUS event we had last week! Our wonderful Grandparents and Special Friends came to visit and spend the afternoon with our students. Those who didn't have a guest come along also joined in with other family groups and showed such flexibility in getting to know new people!
Social Justice
On Monday we have 17 Year Six Students take part in a Social Justice Conference in Wantirna. The facilitator is Catherine Scerri - an Australian who has worked in the Philippines for more than 20 years with an organisation helping vulnerable children and families. She brings with her two young adults who share their personal stories about living in poverty and overcoming challenges.
We can't wait to listen to the stories of these people who live in such different circumstances and we are hoping this kicks off our Mini Vinnies.
