Little Learners Loves Literacy (LLLL) is an evidence based literacy program that explicitly and sequentially teaches children to read, write and spell with confidence.

LLLL gives children the best possible chance of developing into fluent readers, writers and spellers through daily routines, teaching practice, application and more revision.

Learning to read, spell and write are complex tasks, unlike learning to speak which is a natural skill.

LLLL enables children to be aware that spoken words are made up of sounds.

The explicit teaching of phonemic awareness and phonics ensures that children make a successful link between sounds and letters.
