Year 9 Skill Set

Vocational Education and Training, VET, is a wonderful way of learning and provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop knowledge and practical skills relevant to selected industries that interest them.

During Semester 1, thirty-six St Philip's students participated in the Year 9 Skill Set program at Charles Darwin University. Students attended CDU for the week, engaging in various interesting cluster courses, including Retail Cosmetics, Creative Industries, Music, Business, Engineering, Construction, Automotive, Hospitality and Cookery. Students enjoyed their hands-on practical experience; well done to all involved.
