PFA NEWS

Dear All,

What a busy and wonderful Term it has been. Thanks again for all the parent support this Term at Mother’s Day stall, Breakfast and School BBQs (see photos below from our Celebration of learning BBQ on Wed).

We couldn't have done it without the help from our parent community.

Please note the following message regarding and upcoming fundraiser for Term 3: Beanie Day 22nd July - supporting Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer. Brain cancer is a devastating illness where 80% of brain cancer patients do not survive 5years. Unfortunately survival rates have not improved within the last 30 years. On the 22nd of July, St Louis will be having a Beanie Day in memory of all those in our community who are caring for or who have lost someone to brain cancer. Unfortunately, Angela D'Amelio, a member of our school community was lost to this disease earlier this year.

As a community let's raise awareness and important funds to help find a cure for this disease. Please wear your favourite beanie to school on the 22nd of July and bring a gold coin donation (or as much as you would like to donate). All proceeds raised will go directly to Carrie’s Beanie's for Brain Cancer in honour of Angela D’Amelio.

All welcome!

Have a wonderful break everyone!
