All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.                                                                                     Marylene Douglas

Today, the 24th June, we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This feast reminds us that God’s love knows no bounds.

It is higher, deeper, wider than we can ever imagine, and it is endless.

God loves us deeply and truly and showed this by giving us his son, Jesus, to show us how to live.

At today's mass, we heard the story of The Lost Sheep. Through this story we learn that Jesus  wants us to follow in His footsteps.

Jesus asks us to look after those who are lost, lonely, sad, poor, or unloved. He wants us to love everybody, just as He does. The Feast of the Sacred Heart reminds us that God’s love is limitless and we are called to share that love with others. Especially those less fortunate than us.

A Huge   from St Vinnie's for the generous donations brought to school to support those in need. It is very clear we are following in Jesus' footsteps and the Holy Spirit is working through us to share Christ's love with others. A big shout-out to the Year 3's who created 4 overflowing Hampers as well as enough loose donations to fill atleast another two hampers. Your generosity went above and beyond.

The students participated very reverently, albeit in their PJs and Oodies at today's Mass celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Another big Thank You to the amazing students in Year 5 who spent their own time to run an Origami Club and raised a whopping $61 for the Royal Children's Hospital. What an inspirational effort Girls!

May you and your families enjoy a warm, safe, healthy and restful winter break, looking forward to working together again in Term Three.
