Art

In art this week our grade 3-5 students got creative designing and cutting out their own felt Ugly Dolls. These are based on the Ugly Doll movies, celebrating that our differences are what makes us unique and special. In our next lesson, students will hand sew their doll and fill them with stuffing. We look forward to sharing their creations with you.

PE

This term our grade 1 – 6 students will all be participating in Basketball Victoria’s Hoop Time program. This aims to introduce students to the skills, teamwork and fun of basketball. We will be practicing these skills in PE classes for the first 5 weeks of term. Please check Compass for event details.

Senior (grade 5&6) – Tuesday 6th of September PLEASE NOTE THERE HAS BEEN A DATE CHANGE FROM BASKETBALL VICTORIA, THE 6TH IS THE NEW DATE

Grade 3 & 4 we are waiting on date and venue confirmation.

Our foundations are starting the term with a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship in PE and PMP. We are doing this by participating in different small group activities to support learning. This week students had lots of fun playing tunnel ball and completing fun relay activities.
